Qiana C., born NiQiana Chukura is a writer of the drama and crime genre. With her Bachelor's in Criminology and a Film Studies Minor from The University of Tampa, she has experience researching and documenting the behaviors of not just criminals but everyday people. She enjoys investigating the ins and outs of movies and television, sometimes finding herself in an IMDb.com vortex.

Motivated by many Marvel movies and series such as Logan, Deadpool,  The Wolverine, and Jessica Jones, Qiana loves stories that steer the hero away from the pack. The writings of Craig Kyle and Christopher Yost, inspire her the most.

Qiana completed her MFA in Creative Writing at Full Sail University where Writing for Film and Animation, Episodic and Serial Writing, and even Writing for Games became spellbinding to her.

Since graduation, she has won the Hollywood Just4Shorts Competition for Best Drama Screenplay, the Critic's Choice Award winner for Tagore International Film Festival (TIFF), and a semi-finalist for the Drama Inc. Screenplay Competition. She is also an official selection for the Southeast Regional Film Festival, HollyShorts Screenwriting Competition, Vegas Cinefest International Film Festival, and Filmmatic Drama Screenplay Awards.

She lives in Tampa, Florida, where some rather curious crimes take place and give her motivation for her next story.
